Violinist, Rima Fand (Luminescent Orchestrii)has played with Jan since 2000. Tina Lama plays upright bass and joined The Maybelles in 2012. NYC shows often include special guests from the thriving Brooklyn country music community. Philippa Thompson steps in regularly on Mandolin, washboard, and the Saw; Megan Palmer, now based in Nashville plays violin or piano; Katy Stone plays banjo: and May 'bro' Tim Luntzel plays upright bass. Past members of The Maybelles join in from time to time too - Hilary Hawke on banjo, Katy Rose Cox on fiddle, and founding member Melissa Carper on upright bass.
