Three part harmony we've missed you! Jan Bell, Philippa, Thompson, and Tina Lama reunite after over a year to play the legendary longest running bluegrass country brunch in Brooklyn at the beloved Superfine!
Hard Truth Hills is proof that dreams come true. Our adventure began in 2009 at the corner of Molly’s and Honeysuckle lanes in Nashville, Ind. with the original Big Woods restaurant. While brewing on a half-barrel system in a store-room behind the kitchen, here, we began to craft a look, a taste, and a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests. We carried that experience into more restaurants, moved our brewing operations to their own facility, and started a distillery. While all that was happening, we also began searching for the perfect place to re-imagine that original Big Woods experience. Hard Truth Hills' 325 acres of wooded hills, just down the road from our original restaurant in scenic Brown County, is that place. We began construction in summer 2017, and today, Hard Truth Hills is more than the home for our Hard Truth Distilling Co. — it's also an an incredible destination for our friends, fans, and folks who are interested in what we’re doing here up on the hill.

Fundraiser for John Ensor Parker, local artist and friend in Dumbo for many years. John has been a big supporter of the Bklyn Americana Music Festival since day one. And has always encouraged and championed my own music. He takes time to tell me how much he enjoyed the last album, and wondered why I didn't put it out in the world more like I did previous projects. Now its my turn to give John a helping hand as he battles cancer and is recovering after stem cell transplant surgery.

We are in a new era of women's rights advocacy. Many women in entertainment have bravely come forward in recent years and told their stories. Our panelists will discuss where we are now, what it will take to continue to move the needle forward, what initiatives seem to be working, and how all of us can be more aware of and make a difference to build a safer and more equitable environment for women in music.
