The DUMBO Dozen Awards are an annual event honoring 12 individuals and organizations who create amazing things while calling DUMBO home, Past recipients include Brooklyn Arts Council, Red Antler, John Ensor Parker, Dread Scott, Biolite, Inaba and many more. The Awards are presented at The DUMBO Business Improvement District Annual Meeting. This year Jan Bell will receive an award as one of the DUMBO dozen as founder and artistic director of the Brooklyn Americana Music Festival.
