Duo show with Philippa Thompson As comfortable as we may be here in the NYC, parts of our country remain dangerous for LGBTQ young people. Many LGBTQ young adults are rejected by their families and kicked-out of their homes simply because of their gender identity or orientation. Lucie's Place is working to save the lives of these LGBTQ young adults by providing long-term shelter, love and affirmation for Arkansas LGBTQ young adults how need it most. Drop by Thursday, May 4, after work, have a few adult beverages at the open bar, and meet fellow Arkansans and like-minded New Yorkers while learning a bit about the great work of Lucie's Place. The party goes from 6:30-9:00pm, but the support we can provide will last a lifetime for Arkansas's homeless youth. You'll also be able to bid on some Arkansas themed apparal from Hillcrest Waterbugs! Some of you are Arkansas ex-pats in NY, some of you know an Arkansan or a southerner in NYC, some of you are LGBTQ, some of you are all of the above, and some of you are none of these (but are, somehow, still awesome). Regardless, Will Trice & John Pettengill; Ashlie Atkinson; Jennifer Jones; and other hosts would like you to join us in supporting Lucie's Place, a fantastic organization in our hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas, that provides long-term shelter for homeless LGBTQ young adults. Please note this not an "exclusive" event; we encourage you to invite others! We can't wait to meet you! Will Trice Ashlie Atkinson Jennifer JonesDavid RobinsonMariah Hatta
